All I had to do was sit in it, for it to be the best day ever. He was going to let me drive it, but it's a 6-speed, dammit! I know how, but I'm so frightful at it that I didn't dare. Otherwise it's my perfect Solstice. Cherry red, GXP, red stitching, chrome pedals, double catback exhaust, high-performance intake, 7-speaker Monsoon. Why is life so cruel?

I still contemplate what to name mine, when it eventually comes. Jazz is a little too obvious... and it's gonna be painted like Optimus... and it seems more like a female. Maybe Taffy. They've always reminded me of giant chunks of Laffy Taffy.

What some of these companies need to do for publicity is have a drawing of people who WOULD NOT qualify for these cars and select two or three. Take them out to a cut off area and give them a retired police car. "If you can go three laps without the police stopping you, you win a new Solstice!"
